CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a Voluntary integration of social and environmental concerns in business operations and in relations with stakeholders by enterprises. (European Commission Green Paper, July 2001). The definition given by the CE (confirmed by the liability social enterprises in 2006) to the approach to CSR leads us to believe “behavior responsible” and “business” two synergies aspects integrated into business management and crucial for growth and competitiveness.
Only the existence of an “healthy” and “careful with the territory” entrepreneurial economy form the basis for developing a competitive fair system, based on networks of relationships, quality and trust, with the right reward also to the most deserving companies and not only to those offering the lowest price.
